Watching ESL Bootcamp: Immortals (again, on Hulu) during lunch break 😎 A great watch. It shows how e-league/e-sports teams are being run just like traditional sports teams like those in the NBA, NFL, NHL, etc. Great insight into the growing e-sports community/industry. Seeing how e-sports is just growing and gaining momentum to this day, it just goes to show competitive e-sports will not be going away soon. It’s doing the opposite, in fact, as more and more video games and events being organized each year. Not to mention the record-breaking time the stadiums of these events gets sold out, competitive e-sports is consistently making sure its place in the mainstream is solidly cemented.
One thing I don’t like about this show is season one only has 6 episodes. Another thing: this show only has one season! Where are the next seasons, ESL/Hulu?! Do more on other teams: SK, Cloud 9, Fnatic, Astralis, Envyus, Mousesports, Complexity, Gambit, etc.
I hope more shows like this are created…
Anyway…
